If you have rats or mice, buy this book!

Bobby Corrigan, with a doctorate in rodentology, is the country's top expert in eliminating rodent problems. He was an exterminator then went back to school and eventually got his doctorate from Purdue, and has been teaching and consulting ever since. He is a student of rats -- he even spent time living in a rat-infested barn to understand rats and their habits better.
New York CIty probably has the worst rat and mouse problems in the country, and to increase the skills of their inspectors and private exterminators they started a yearly Rat Academy, which Corrigan teaches. What better endorsement would you need?
This book is full of tips and principles that will be useful not just to professionals but also to homeowners (because if you have rats, especially, you will want to get rid of them even more than your exterminator wants to get rid of them). Read this book and you will know if your exterminator is doing a good job, and you can give some gentle advice -- or get rid of them -- if they're not.
To put it another way, rats are probably the toughest problem that exterminators face, and with this book you will greatly increase the odds of a permanent solution.
While it doesn't come out in the book Corrigan is also very funny -- just watch some of his youtube videos. The videos are no substitute for the book, though.

This book is like many other PCT manuals. Very in-depth approach to controlling critters and learning how to create a good process. I'd recommend to many technicians and/or owners to give it a good read.

Great for property or facilities manager

This is a great book if you manage property and want to know how to control rodents. Corrigan is excellent at explaining how to identify methods of finding rodents (rats and mice) and how to control. The book is written for the pest control operator, property or facilities manager.
